MY SPRINT VXG 707N (W london)
Re: MY SPRINT VXG 707N (W london)
That is gorgeous. I'd estimate worth roughly double what it would be in matt black.
1978 Pageant Sprint - the rustomite, 1972 Spitfire IV - sprintfire project, 1968 Valencia GT6 II - little Blue, 1980 Vermillion 1500HL - resting. 1974 Sienna 1500TC, Mrs Weevils big brown.
Re: MY SPRINT VXG 707N (W london)
Thanks everyone.
To be honest at the moment im in the middle of some serious decision making regarding whether or not (sometime between now and christmas) selling the sprint due to medical and financial circumstances with myself.
It would be very upsetting especially since all the time, effort, cost and love gone into her to have to part so soon, but it is getting very difficult for me to finance and maintain a classic car at the moment.
Im still very unsure.
I still have some jobs left to do, going to flat, compound and wax the whole body pretty soon, might do what Jon said with the satin rear, and stonechip the sills etc...
Today i spent some time fitting a new altenator mounting bolt as the old one was crappy and cleaned and recharged the k&n filters...
I am going to be putting up some more pics over the couple of weeks and i want to do a roadtrip of some sort so i will be taking pics of that also...
Thanks again all.

Wow, the car is looking excellent! I was never so keen on those wheels to be honest, but since you've painted the centres black I have completely changed my mind about them!
Just needs some club Sprint side-stipes in silver to finish it off

Cheers,

I did like them both colours, but the black suits the car better i think, although they do appear smaller now.

Next week i plan to do the couple of hundred quids worth of flatting, polishing and lovely final waxing,lol...
Still considering selling it by xmas, have to think hard about a sale price i guess, but every time i come home from somewhere and see it parked up looking lovely, I decide dont want to,lol
