Mike, I haven't really tested it yet. I only had a couple of hundred yards to get to the garage. I think I only took it to 3000rpm. I'll probably take it for a test run during the week.
Ian, I always use the 10 thou as recommended or as close as possible, seeing as the gaskets are in multiples of 10 thou.

Good stuff Mart, can't wait to get it back. And you've washed it! Now that's what I call service.

Ooh, I do so love a white Sprint.
Top job Mart.

Re: Project HPR
Tomorrow I'm catching an early train to Mart country, and looking forward to driving HPR the 120-odd miles home. It is a very nice car to drive and handles better than my red or blue Sprints despite being the only one with not a single polybush fitted. Derek, you're on the list....

Home again
Final chapter in this mini-resto.... Driving HPR home was a joy, and the engine never missed a beat - temperature rock steady all the way, no leaks or drips or hot smells. Another top job, Martin, thanks so much. Now you can get on with your real project (and put your own car back in its garage).

Hi,Having owned HPR for several years prior to you owning it I'm glad that you arepleased with it and I am very happy that it has gone to a good home. (if I hadn't bought UAA 891M I would not have sold HPR). Best Regards Paul
