It does sound a lot more straight forward a fit than I am experiencing here - thanks for all the contributions - if any of you live in Lancs you are more than welcome to come along and cast an opinion - I can't believe it is just me - and my friend Al (long time restorer of all kinds) said it wasn't worth getting it to even try to fit..

I'll keep posting up as I get on with it - looking forward to seeing the BL full sill when it arrives!! Hope it's got stickers on it!

Hi All

Just an update; Quite fortunately I have now managed to get my hands on two BL factory sills - unfortunately one os off a two door car, it needs slight modification (witha hammer mostly!!) and other than a slight difference where the B-Post goes it is identical.

I also treated myself to a new (second-hand!) Migatronic welder - which I have still to test.. when I actually finish procrastinating and get back to it I will post some progress photos
