Re: Harewood House Fathers day (19th June) Leeds West Yorkshire
Rob, this has been the venue for previous Northern Dolly Days. The last time I was at this event I tagged along with the West Yorks TSSC group.

Re: Harewood House Fathers day (19th June) Leeds West Yorkshire
just been on their forum and their dosen't appear to be anything about harewood (although im not a member and don't fancy paying to be one on the TSSC to be honest...
Does anyone else know if their is any other Triumph clubs going to this brilliant show?
Thanks
Rob

Re: Harewood House Fathers day (19th June) Leeds West Yorkshire
The TSSC folk are almost certain to have some of their cars there if they're not otherwise occupied swapping carbs in the pursuit of that elusive 0.174 extra bhp and talking about the variety of ways in which the Birdy Dance can be played on the spokes of a wire wheel with the blunt end of a butter knife.
Or maybe they're not the same club they were back in the '80s.
Are the hill climbs still held down there?

Aww bumhats! Missed it yet again.

Re: Harewood House Fathers day (19th June) *EVENT REPORT*
Well... day started off at 7,set off from crossgates to colton (sainsburys carpark in colton, leeds) met up with a few other capri's,and ford pop (grandads chair man of leeds capri club, and gave me a ticket for entry on their stand)
so...
Leeds Capri Club Line up (weren't all capri's but the day started out wet:lol:

Dolly after it just stopped raining

Capri with rover V8

Yellow mk2 capper, with 2.8 injection mk3 capper engine "mellow yellow"

Dolly's engine all cleaned up

and then... i over hear the marshals talking to my grandad and the other's in the stand "start your engines and prepare to move into the parade ground" (i then begin to crap myself as their were thousands of people watching and listening to the tanoy system )

after we drove round the parade square 2-3 times we were then asked to park in this figure and tell a little about the cars,i got out and took a couple of pics, think this is the best with all the leeds capri club cars in shot! (except the V8 pop) don't really know why,but would have been nice to have that in the pic though.

Only a few T2000's and T2500 and an estate, couple of spitfires and a GT6 and Tr6 but again.... no dolly's
well.. we were then given little plaques for entering the cars and turned out quite nice after 10 o'clock and was still a good turn out too
