Just to clarify a small point here, the committee did not say that it would not approve SDD as an official club meet. The committee asked if it would be possible to re-arrange the date because it would have clashed with TDCIR, our main annual rally and as such it would have been difficult for the TDC to support two major events taking place on the same day. We very much hope that James can get back to us with an alternative date so that we can promote SDD and give it our full support.

So it looks like there will be no SDD this year, shame really after several years of succesful SDD's.
Anyone up for a gathering of dolomites in the new forest on the weekend of Aug 13/14, this will not be an official TDC event just a group of dollly/ tolly/ FWD owners getting together for a weekend of camping, drinking and eating of burnt cows or pigs?

Counts me out then, a whole weekend of eating burnt cows or pigs is way too much for me and the lack of dolly ownership is kind of counting me out anyway. If the beer drinking happens before or after the burning of the cows and pigs I might just swing by though

I have a spare dolomite you can use david and non cow/pig based products carefully grilled on a unused griddle are also on the menu or I can burn Quorn just a easily, if fact i find it a lot less hassle just to burn everything except the beer tents and cars :D .
