Hi all,
Just thought I would mention this event because it never seems to be publicised anywhere and it's a good laugh if you've not got anything else on! The show is quite small, last time there were 30 or so cars each day, but there's also the continental market to have a nosy around so you can make a day of it.

If anyone is going to be showing there, let me know!

Re: Bradford Classic, Sat 20th August 2011
Was doing all sorts of things today so didn't get chance to spend much time here sadly, but managed to get down for the last 20 mins or so. Only one Dolomite there but it looked a nice one, 1500 HL - is it known to anyone on here?

Other than that there was a Jaguar XJ220, couple of Cobras, a nice red Stag (reg SCA7R I think), yellow Spitfire, gorgeous white Triumph 2500 (think the owner was named Ron), load of Minis, a Coupe De Ville, Consul, 3 wheeler (Berkeley?), a Ferrari covered in Swarovski crystals (don't ask), the usual MGB suspects, Singer Gazelle convertible, Lotus Cortina... plenty of interesting motors. If you get chance, check it out next year - they put on a continental market too, all for free, pretty decent day out.

I probably wouldn't have asked, but...xsquared_uk wrote:Swarovski crystals (don't ask)

The car at Bradford was me. I sent a membership form in May but I've still not got confirmation.

The dolly in the picture's a 1977 1500Hl in sandglow. I bought it in May and it had only done 60,000 miles from new. Stored in a garage for the past 20 years

It certainly looked pretty tidy from the brief look I got to have - shame I couldn't have got mine in there too, that's the third year I've missed out on having an entry for one reason or another. One day!
