coupla' echidnas took a break in our garden (probably with that spring feeling). Not sure how echidnas actually get it on, carefully I'd imagine.

change oil and fit new spin on oil filter conversion kit

fail. The spin on filter doesn't seem to fit. I'm following the instructions, but the adapter bolt isn't long enough and I can't get it to work. I'm obviously doing something wrong. I'm using the engine from the sprint project as a test bed to get it to fit.

I have exactly the same problem with the spin-on, can't figure it out. It is sitting on my workbench gathering dust.

Regarding the halogen lights, we can get 5 3/4 inch sealed beam units from the local auto parts store (although I bought mine online here: http://www.brandsport.com/h5006bulbs.html). May be worth trying?

I've fitted a few spin-on conversions with no problems. If you can put some photos up of the parts & how you are assembling it, perhaps we can see what's going wrong.
