Today, near Totnes saw a tidy looking G reg Saab 96 (the one with the V4 engine and freewheel device).

In Brixham passed a parked Triumph Vitesse convertible, light blue with dark blue or black side flash :eyes4u:

Now I was about to post a "nil return" for this week, except that on the walk into town this morning I saw something I haven't seen for decades ! If you are under 55 please go to the next topic.
Still with me ?
Remember the Mods and Rockers ? Well, I've just seen a perfect Mod scooter. Couldn't tell if it was a Lambretta or a Vespa, but it had the multiple small spot-lights on the front, the rider wearing a fur parka, and the over long radio aerial at the back with the fox's tail flying from it.
Memories.
Cheers All,
Tony.

We see a lot of them in Sothampton during May bank holiday.

I'm not sure if the 'rules of the game' require the spotted car to be on the public highway - but Angoulême's racing is of the street variety! A few weeks ago I spotted there this rather nice Sprint. The driver somewhat over-cooked it trying to take two cars at once into the sharp left bend at the end of the start straight, kept it out of the wall, but had to retire on the next lap. There are a few more photos on the blog.

Isnt that a rather late plate for an FD victor? I thought we were on to square light FE's by K...

Not that I care much as both are pretty dreadfull...

BTW, sorry for the link rather than a photo, but I just couldn't work out how to copy in the latter to a post. Copy & paste didn't work - no paste option given. And I couldn't work out how to use the Img button. Can someone please explain how to copy photos into TDC Forum posts?

Many thanks,
Richard

Today heading west on M4 near Reading I saw what looked like a slightly wider XK150 DHC....

It was I think an AlleyCat kit car based on an XJ6. That being said it did look the business......and you cant really blame the owner
when the real thing would be substantially north of 50k.

Nice wheels mate...but a Kougar remains my fave Jag based "kit car" if you can use than term for one of those.
