Rob's late Toledo restoration
Re: Rob's late Toledo restoration
They'll look cool, they'll also prevent stone chipping to the sills, but they'll cause mud traps where they attach to the lips of the arches, six of one, half a dozen of the other, I'd tend not to drill virgin bodywork though but.

Try Woolies for the carpet, they have a good selection of colours and types. The website is a good un and they are helpful folk. It would indeed make a good article mate.

Re: Rob's late Toledo restoration
Thanks to work taking many of my evenings, I have not managed to touch the car, until Sunday, when I continued reassembling it.
Most of the exterior trim has now been fitted but the following is left:
Rear bumper
Two door handles.
Rear vents
One door rubbing strip (ran out of clips!)
Rebuild driver’s seat
Replace carpet
Refit entire interior
At 8pm, I took the car for a run, as I felt I needed a treat. It went really well and, as I had my little camera with me, I took a few shots…

Re: Rob's late Toledo restoration
Thanks everyone. I have a few little trim bits on the exterior to sort, prior to fixing the interior.
However, the white 1500HL resto is taking priority...

what a fantastic job. Great location for the pics too, thanks for putting them up Rob, very pleasing to see this kind of resto.
I'll second the idea on making up a carpet set.

Rob, you're doing for Toledos what mad Mart is doing for Sprints.
Keep up the good work!
