Great memory shared there.

Not a car, but hopefully two bikes makes the mark?
but today's top spot goes to an early SS80 Brough Superior and a 1956 Vincent Comet I parked up next to whilst making a visit to Tring Brewery...
I really am a sucker for nickel plating and realy ought to have had it on the Bantam but hey ho.
no piccy's though as no camera at the time.

Well I'm not so sure it's a top spot, but I couldn't think where else to put this, so here goes.i was watching the early years of inpector morse, otherwise known as Endevour and I noticed amongst the many superb examples of mid 60's automobiles, a rather nice triumph 1300 fwd in navy blue been used by the "victim" of the show.Anybody else seen the same clip/program and if so, is the car known to us?

A35's and A40's that superceded them were great cars. Far superior to the Moggy thou the greater popularity of which I have never understood.

I think the blue 1300FWD in Endeavour was our own Mr Ashbridge's car.

Mark's car is regsitered with lots of film companies and has also been in Heartbeat a couple of times. Mark restored it from scratch some years ago now, and was for a long time the Club's FWD Registrar.

Yesterday evening on the M25 Leatherhead to Reigate stretch a red 2CV in decent enough 'regularly used' nick. Why do these things always lean to one side? Left in this case.

I'll have to start using the video camera for my journeys home again, it's already light enough when the weather is half decent :D

Today at a set of traffic lights, a very rusty white Midget. Secondly, a green T plate MGB GT, spotted whilst on my way to my second interview in Aldermaston. Much nicer condition.
Also, hello to the 58 plate Mercedes Estate driver who decided to flash his lights, beep his horn and then overtake me for indicating to pull over on a stretch of road that had no turning.
You obviously didn't see the ambulance behind us with siren blaring and the blue lights flashing?
You obnoxious prick.

......was a very nice bright orange V.W. Beetle heading towards Bracknell. It was like a Spring marigold amongst a sea of grey moderns . And we exchanged wave-waves ! :bluewave:
That quite brightened up my morning . It must be Spring-time; that always brings them out.

Found this '72 1850 sitting on a drive locally, registration GRO 410L. Does anyone recognise it? A bit rough round the edges and the bonnet's been used as a trampoline but still solid.

:( Poor old thing has been off the road for over 16 years and hasn't even been changed from PLG to Historic VED class yet, but it's an August the 1st car and I can just imagine the joy someone must have experienced on collecting that from their showroom at the stroke of midnight to be sure of having the first new plate in their street! :)

It's holding up reasonably considering how long it's been out of action. Surely it can't have been on that drive for all that time?
