I must admit, I'm getting sick of the smell of White spirit..

Re: Off Topic
[ontopic]the smell of white spirit always reminds me of my childhood, Airfix kits, I used it to wash my paint brush out in it.[/ontopic]Reg wrote:I must admit, I'm getting sick of the smell of White spirit..
It's Friday!

Re: Off Topic
Hooray! All done now, get the stuff as far away as possible please..

Re: Off Topic
[on-topic but possibly useful]white spirit is also useful as a solvent to add in small quantities to your car's Diesel tank in Winter so that the veggie oil in there doesn't turn to some sort of expensive gel that would leave you stranded....[/on topic but possibly useful]
New bloke starting at work today, he's a retired head teacher from a posh school. Soon have him whipped into shape. Hmm, the bogs could do with a good scrub methinks....

Re: Off Topic
I'm certainly not complaining, but I am definitely confused as to how I managed to get so many girls sleeping in my room last night...
(And no, I haven't taken to drinking yet!)

Why is it that when it's sunny in Bilbao, I'm stuck in a factory doing trials, but the minute I go outside, it clouds over?

So, I've had sparks coming from numerous light switches, bulbs in the kitchen blowing after 3 days (I would also mention the fact I've gone through 11 of those energy efficient "last 10 years" ones, in my room alone, house total is 40+, but I just think they're crap bulbs) had three laptop chargers melt, TV randomly turning itself off, Printer randomly turning itself on and I just got an electric shock from my iPod speaker dock.
None of this happens when it's all plugged in at my grans house.
So Mr Landlord, what are you going to do about this one? A damn site more than you did about the damp I hope (Where is that new carpet you promised me a month ago? This tiled floor is freezing and the broken concrete covering the radiator pipe is a classy touch too.) Though I hope you don't go as far as you did with the extractor fan in the shower room. Nice job of venting it to outside like you were supposed to, though I don't think it's meant to be on all the time.
Speaking of venting... Sorry, had to get that off my chest. It's hard to put into words exactly how p155 off it actually makes me.
However, this picture cheered me up.
Immensely cheered me up.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

I've never had an all-nighter I didn't enjoy. I hope this one doesn't prove me wrong.

Lovely day, cleaned the Toledo, washed her, polished her, polished all the chrome, looking nice. Then a bloody pigeon craps on the roof!!! Flying vermin!!!!

Thankfully the Russian's are making weird films now that Hollywood's resorting to cookie-cutting its films...
Hopefully my local indy cinema will screen it with the usual supply of fine ales

Oh dear Motorbase, oh dear.
The 1850 figures are seemingly completely made up.
I now remember why I never go on that site for specific details.

Just justified a night of Colin McRae Rally on the fact I have a report on internal combustion engines to write. I don't think I'll ever learn.
