As a club we have been invited to take part in the event as they would like to have some Coventry cars along for the celebrations
The event is free and will run between 10am and 4pm on the above date.
The plan is to get over 30 historic Coventry transport/WMPTE buses at the event, this i believe will be the only time there has been so many of the old buses in one place as there spread far and wide.
5 historic buses will run between Sandy lane and the Coventry transport museum for a small fair charge and there will be a small charge for entrance to the museum stores.
Im not organising this as such, the Coventry Corporation Transport Society have ask me to let them have the number of cars which will turn up so we can have space, there will be trade stands and if you have anything to sell then they said thats fine to bring it along (aslongs its not a van full)
so can we count on members to support this event, its all to do with Coventry buses and coventry cars so lets help them out!!
of course you dont have to show your Triumph at the show, you can just turn up if you wish and have a look round and have a trip on some historic buses!!
National Express Coventry have shown support by painted one of the current fleet in the old livery and i must say it looks nice!!
If i can just have some numbers so i can let them know, i dont have to let them have the figure untill 3days before so we have plenty of time yet!!
