Well, it has been a while eh? There have been a few bumps along the way, sell her, not sell her, etc.

The plan now will be as follows:

When the Daf has been tinkered with I shall put Flipper into the lock up. The following will then commence at a pace that I can handle:

Remove the remaining brightwork.
Remove the lights (front and rear.)
Remove the front screen.
Remove the bonnet, boot lid and doors: repair any bits that need repairing although the bonnet will be replaced.
Attend to any rust that lurks around the A pillar and the rear of the wings.
Remedy any rust along the roof guttering.
Attend to any additional rustiness on the remaining panels.

Mechanical: fit metric studs to enable the Rover 100 alloys to be fitted.
Fit cherry bomb silencer

Electrical: check all connections and make good as required.
Fit Land Rover rear lights.

Chrome: prep and paint, possibly body colour or white.

Interior: paint B pillar trims. Retrim kickboards.

Choose colour: Dolphin Grey or Satin Black.

Choose colour: Dolphin Grey or Satin Black.
Leave it grey.

satin black has been done to death.

unless you want Flipper to look like Hell's Blackboard

Well I suppose the CF is satin black. If I can't get a decent match there is a Jag colour from the mid to late 70's that is fairly similar that I quite like. Anyone know what it is? Blue/grey almost lavender'ish.

Got 'em: Light Blue - 1971, Lavender Blue - 1973.

Forgot to add: sort out the clutch!
White roof
Window tints but fairly subtle'ish.
Might paint the alloys a gunmetal grey instead of the black that they are now.

Ummm, bit of a list. This may take a while but looks good in my head.

That's the one John thanks, but that looks metallic in the photo, whereas the one that I have seen is a solid colour (IIRC).

It's actually solid, though I see how you mean.

Your plans are sounding good..satin black may have been done, but...how many silver, white, blue, red, etc colour cars do you see? Thousands. I can't say I really see satin black cars on a daily basis so that's a win colour for me!

Ahh, she needed a little help from the jump pack this morning as the battery was a little tired. However, she then burbled into life and trundled away to her new home.

There is a Triumph sized space outside the house now, oh, not there isn't. The asshole neighbour's fag ash Lil partner has just chucked her rusty 'Scrote in the space. Crikey, she must have been waiting with keys in hand. Quickest I've seen her move ...... ever!
