Re: Today's Top Spot
........or rather yesterday's Top Spot was a Jaguar XJ220 on the north bound A3. What a super sounding exhaust note !
2nd place goes to a Reliant Robin making excellent progress a little further on. Nice bright red; the sort of bright red that used to be called Tartan Red on the A55s of the 1960s.

Spotted - when I got out of it! - on the high road from Lake Vyrnwy to Lake Bala, just inside Snowdonia National Park.

Re: Today's Top Spot
I've been passing this minor on the way to work for over a week parked in the station car park in Øster Vrøgum.

It looked so clean I thought it must be in daily use but closer inspection shows that it's not moved in a while, front tyre is flat. I'm sure it wasn't there when I was out here in December.

Hopefully plans are afoot as it is loaded up with parts. With the passenger window half open and the keys in the ignition it'd not last long in England.

If anyone fancies a 1600 mile round trip with a trailer I can leave a note on the windscreen up to Friday morning.

Re: Today's Top Spot
A bunch of Fiat 131 were visiting today. 6 different nationalities. The blue/yellow was a wannabe. The red one a real abarth. It had the IRS what the rallycars had and a GRP body. The blue/yellow has a bodykit on a std shell and you can see the difference. The real one has a different nose, wings, bonnet etc. Don't try to teach me my '70 rallycars. Never ever have seen a real abart, only from '70 pictures. Now i have a lot of 2012 pictures of one.
The blue mettalic dutch licened one in the middle was a volumex. Seen it on 124 spiders but never in a saloon.

Not one I saw, but I had it texted to me by a friend who spotted it as he flew in to JFK in New York last week..
Not often you see a 1970 747-100 let alone the NASA's N-905NA complete with Space Shuttle Orbiter Enterprise!!
Sadly OV-101 is off to its retirement home on the Intrepid, but it'll have Concorde G-BOAD to keep it company

Re: Today's Top Spot
Two good " spots " today ! A really nice 1971 E-Type in Jaguar metallic grey came and parked next to us in Cambridge car-park. We had a brief chat about all things Classic ! Great guy ! And on the way back we were passed on the westbound M4 by a Mark 2(?) Vermillion Spitfire. I couldn't keep up. Wave wave

Re: Today's Top Spot
probably 4 or 6 wheel drive but great in the snow. I have the smaller version of those tyres on my 42 Jeep and it is ok in the wet but i don't have the same weight to worry about or go fast enough.
