Southern Dolly Day

#1 Post by DavePoth »

I've now confirmed the arrangements for Southern Dolly Day 2007. It's on the 15th of July 2007, at the Atwell Wilson Motor Museum in Calne, Wiltshire. Entry is £5 per person, including the museum's collection of cars, motorcycles and other vehicles, and the tea room will be open. The fun starts from 10 am.

Here's the website:

If anyone wants more info feel free to PM me. Hope to see you all there. :)

I happened to be near Calne yesterday and popped in for a visit. It's a terrific venue with an interesting collection of cars and motorcycles, the owners were very friendly and welcoming too. Recommended!

I look forward to seeing you all there!

The other thing I was thinking about was what sort of "fun" to have while we were there. I suppose some sort of concours d'elegance might be in order? I could offer a gallon of rough cider to the winner...:D

Sadly nowhere around Chez Dave to to homebrew. But there's a really good farm shop nearby that sells it in 4 pint milk jugs... 8)
