Should the top half of the doors & 'D' posts be cream or green?

Sorry Jeroen, but your additions make the car look as though someone scraped off the paint in some parts and let a film of rust form on bare steel.

I like the car as it is, I also like the idea of orange things. 8)

I like your colour scheme Jeroen.

...and I see the crayon vs paintshop war continues in Holland :)

The cream and green scheme is rather nice as well, nice contrasting colours.

nice predicament to be in Mart.

No on the orange!

Yes on painting the rest of the upper half green.

No on stripes over the top.

I think I've figured out which one it is. Are the stripes going to be two colours of blue and two colours of green by any chance?

Well you are all entitled to your opinions but you need to go green on the door tops and D posts...and maybe the rear wing tops as well....but then you'd need to take the green down to the swage, and it may be too much green.

But defo the door tops and D's....

The MG Z Varitione does it the way it should be.....but is a tad more curvy.

OK, the stripes are on and it's all finished. I still think the top half of the doors & 'D' posts should be green but I'm going to stick with it as it is for now.

Edit: I've started a poll at the top of the page to gauge opinion. Whether I take any notice of it or not...

Edit again: Looks like I've got gold pinstripe as well. When's he going to stop?

Nah!, it's not honeysuckle, more of a cream as seen on early sixties cars.

Splendid stuff! =D> Is this one going to go on the Mad Mart wall of fame for restored Sprints as well? (Which is getting rather chock-a, I might add)

Nah!, it's not good enough. :D

Colours reminded me of my very first car, a Triumph Herald 12/50 I bought for £90 in 1976...

[pedant]
By top half what do you mean? That could be interpreted as basically from the stripe up, too much imo. Or do you mean including the narrow vertical face the chrome is normally on? Or perhaps no green (apart from the stripe) below glass.
[/pedant]

Whatever, I can't decide.
