Just a quick question about this event for those that may know. Do you just turn up and if you have a car to display, just park it on the field with the other dolomite owners or do you have to fill in an entry form to gain entry? I notice they have an entry form on their (out of date!) website.

Thanks

No need to pre-book, there will be two gates..one pre-booked and the other is a non-booked pay at the gate...£5 per car iirc. Fill out a very short form with your details, so they can inform you whats happening the following year. You will then have a choice to join up with a club, or just be an independant and be mixed in with other makes of fine motorcars, they will direct you accordingly.. 8)

It's very well organised and always a great show. :)

I'm hoping to make it to this one also.
Car prepped and ready.
It's two hours for me too, but worth it.

Hopefully I'll be able to make this as long as the old girl starts, stupid question but do I have to be a member to join you on the TDC stand?

I'm sure that non-Club members would be made very welcome and hopefully persuaded to part company with a paltry twenty six pounds to join up at some point :D .

I got back from Ferry Meadows to find I was 1 inch taller thanks to some additional grass heels.
For the journey back however, I wish I'd had one of those amphicars.
Not a bad day despite the slight dampness.
Hats off to the SD1 owners with a cracking line up although who let the bloke in on the end with the Ford?
Cars of the day awards go to Craigs 1300 2 Door Turdedo, and the Austin Victoria.

Had a really good day out here, driving back down the A1 wasn't so much fun though! Was proud that my Toledo was easily one of the top three Toledo's there....wasn't so proud of my Springer Spaniel who rolled in fox shite making the 2 hour drive home somewhat hard on the nostrils :barf:

Springer Spaniels eh, gotta love the mad buggers. Ours used to prefer a dead porpoise or dolphin that had been on the beach for at least a week so was good & ripe.

A fair few Marina's on show (which I liked) but no mammalian marine lifeforms....funnily enough the Morris boys didn't fancy having a crazed stinking Springer roll around on their motors, an activity that would have been far better suited to the MG clubs stands

Good to meet you guys, 13 cars not bad! Weather didn't really spoil it other than sending us home a little earlier than we would have. Some very nice cars on our patch, a lovely 1300, 3 Toledos, a couple of very nice early 1850s, a beautiful SE and some excellent Sprints. Interesting to see the Austin Victoria alongside the Sprint too. Be good if some of you could get up to TDCIR on September 2nd, see other post for details.
