Plan for the weekend:

Drive to Essex, meet up with about a dozen other Daf owners, pitch tent, everyone pile-in to get a long-term-stalled project Daf ready for MOT before Monday, drink tea and Beer, eat BBQ and jammie dodgers, come home as no longer the only Daf 32 on road.

Sorted :)

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

Today UK, tomorrow Europe.

Most parents would be worried about heatstroke or mugging. My mum is worried I'll buy an eastern European car. I think this says an awful lot about me!

You'd think that spending £60 on a new indicator switch for the MGA that you'd get a decent unit.. Oh no! On the first corner the knob had snapped off and by the end of the journey it had stopped self-cancelling!

Now I know why it's had the wrong switch fitted for at least the last 30 years..
