So, what are fruit flies like as pets then? I'm swithering between one of those and another rescue horse. :|

For sale, my green Sprint £1300. Comes with a mentally challenged dog if you want it; and if she doesn't cheer up a bit, a wife too.

Tomorrow BT will be installing a new line to our house, only been waiting 3 weeks.

Now that wouldn't be galling at all were it not for the perfectly serviceable line already here that BT have lost all record of. First day we moved in a phone was plugged in and 17070 confirmed it a good 'un. But no, according to the BT computer that is either a figment of my imagination or it 'belongs' to another supplier.

Say it does belong to Talk Talk for example. Are Talk Talk really going to get all snotty if BT were to appropriate the line? Who apart from me is going to be asking for a phone line to my house?

Ho hum.

Had a Bostin' day today at long Marston Drag Strip for the annual hotrod nats and fell madly in lust with a mint 63 Consul Classic 2 door saloon (complete with 4.6 litre TVR V8) mine for a mere 9k!
My kind of car, take something as rare as rocking horse s**t, restore it carefully then give it an obscenely large engine, but don't let it show on the outside!

Never take notice of 'mate's' on the phone telling you about a car on ebay that looks interesting, and NEVER make the single, solitary winning bid. Ever! Ever! Ever!

Could I persuade a Triumph Trophy 1200 engine into KAC, giving me a 110hp Triump1200FWD, with a six speed box?

Answers to the asylum please.

Gah, all these cars for sale, I wish I had room. I'm starting to miss my acre, and the ride on mower that went with it. This is one aspect of coming home to England I really don't like. God I miss that mower, it even had beer holders and a very pleasing comfortable seat. That and the moonshine booze; I miss the 'will I be sick, drunk, blind or dead' lottery that accompanied every new test batch.
I'm thinking that what my shed needs, apart from more car parts, is a covert still. Maybe I could say it's for paint stripper, the end product is often not a million miles away.
Hmm..

I finish my current job tomorrow. I've been with the CMHT for 8 years (longest time in post for me ever) and I am really sad to go. I have a new job in the NHS version of a call centre. Less stress and so on but slightly more travelling and a smidgeon of shifts. Wish me luck.
