Curse you, keenly priced ebay Snap On tool boxes. Why must you always be so far away?

Today I bought an iPod 5G for £20 because the battery doesn't hold charge and the hold switch has been pushed in. Never have I been so glad to hold spares in stock! The HDD was also a little faulty, but I bought a job lot of broken iPods for a part I wanted earlier in the year and amongst said brokens was a perfect HDD. It's days like these I likes!

Today I ordered another 32 watches for stock, to go with the 60 that arrived last Friday. Going to need a bigger car soon to move them in....

BT Retail said it would take up to 4 weeks for BT Openreach to get a line installed. They crept in under that performance target by hours.
Plus said it would take up to 6 working days to get BT Openreach to activate ADLS on the line. They crept in under that performance target by hours.
Now, quelle suprise, it turns out the ADSL that supposedly was activated this morning wasn't and it will take up to 72 hours to get the fault investigated. FFS.

I did meet Elvis today

#1748 Post by soe8m »

Today from work to home. In my car with the radio volume at max. I did know all the songs, did sing as loud as i could sometimes with tears in my eyes.

Before:

I'm a music lover and sometimes there's a blanco cd left in a car and those i take and try when driving at home. Sometimes it goes after 1.2 seconds out of the player again and sometimes it stays in. I'm alway's curious what the next song is but can control myself not to skip. Today it was Elvis. All songs were on and i knew them. Never listened special to Elvis or bought music from him but i think these songs were stored in me 30 years ago somewhere between the age of 1-10 sitting on the rearseat. But listening as loud as possible i had to sing, forgot to shift gear many times and betrayed myself of anti-speeding.
This wasn't me, excited, emotional and relieved after 31 songs. When i was home i was relaaaaxed. All this weeks stress, gone. What a ride home.

Friday: Mouse poo in the garage - 4 traps purchased and set.
Saturday: 2 traps cleared of their bait, none tripped. Clever mice.
Sunday: 1 trap gone. Gone gone not tripped. Searched high and low, the buggers have stolen it to flog on Ebay.
