Brake and fuel pipes

#1 Post by Carl »

Pretty soon I will be re-fitting the brake and fuel lines to my Sprint. I've never liked the way the fuel line does a 'tour' of the car before arriving at the engine bay instead of being tucked up inside the prop tunnel like the brake line. Also both of these lines end up running along the inside of the offside chassis leg underneath the gearbox cross member, a pain when you want to drop the gearbox. So, any ideas for re-routing them so that they are safely out of harm's way and not obstructing the removal of the cross member ? I was thinking along the lines of an access hole cut in the chassis leg to allow them to be routed along the outside. Thoughts ?
