Power assisted steering.
1978 Twilight Purple Dolomite 1850HL The Lolomite.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

The PAS Rack is from a Subaru "L" Series Wagon. The distance between the inner tie rod ends is the same as a TR7 rack. I used Volvo tie-rods and a Ford pump.
I had to fabricate mountings on the cross-member to fit the rack

Someone did find a picture of Jochem Bunkus engine from at least some 15 till 20 years ago.
BTW still the fastes Sprint ever, competing in the pretty tuff German STCC and being overall champion 2 times.
Just google this and you will be supriced what real Sprint speed mean.
Just a side note, during the time we raced in the Jung Timer class and being in the front rows, he had that weekend also a STCC race on the circuit of Assen
He walked into our box in Assen and was a bit angry about his lap times, and they where still 10 seconds faster!! go figure.

Our first EFI sprint was build in 1997 with only new Weber parts and a DTA computer.
Still runs fine and especially smooth.
We went to the SODIT meeting 06 September 1997 (yes the funeral of Diana) and had the tech price with it, and the long distance award too

3 brothers in arms Jamie Weidner (Sprint Spares) Jochem Bunkus and me during my wedding party

An other old picture of Jochems car in Zolder (the engine on the picture is from this time)

Our EFI roadcar, picture taken in 1997

Even without my reading glasses it is clear that this is no ordinary Sprint head.
Well and DOHC probably says it all. Some piccies underneath that modified rocker cover would be very welcome

Yep, first thing I spotted was DOHC & it definitely looks like a Sprint head. We need the rocker cover removed. :jump4joy:
Sprintless for the first time in 35+ years. :boggle2: ... Still Sprintless.

Engines, Gearboxes, Overdrives etc. rebuilt. PM me.
