Still seeing double and blessed with a severe headache after the bolt I was trying to undo yesterday suddenly decided to play ball. The result was a 1/2" drive ratchet flying off at great speed and whacking me hard between the eyes.

I really do hate shallow headed bolts!

Would the person who previously "repaired" this 18kt Omega by glueing bits in place with araldite please stand up and identify themselves? The firing squad is getting restless, thank you!

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

Will people please stop fecking about inside watches if they don't know what they're doing. The roller on a vintage Longines is NOT meant to be all squashed and lopsided like this!

The disk with the ruby pin in it is 1.8mm diameter btw!

When people ask me why, I tell 'em it's because their middle name got in the way.

The cheese guy is back at Mona car boot! Apparently he stopped going cos the meat guy got threatening over taking his custom. Which gives the rest of us an impossible dilemma:

Who do you side with? The guy with excellent cheap cheeses or the guy with excellent cheap bacon?????

Yodel delivered my generator parts order today. Nothing newsworthy in that, but maybe a little OTT on the packaging?

Just seen that this thread has reached over 1800 posts.

Guess it's time to mention that there's a mystery prize for whoever makes the XXXXth one. Not going to give the exact number so there's no cheating but it's NOT the 2000th ;)
