Gaydon Tickets

#1 Post by YoungManGoneWest »

Well, I booked, via the TR website, a ticket for the Sunday - for TDCIR - and received a letter saying that tickets would be sent two weeks prior to the event. No ticket yet received. Am I alone in this or are they running late across the board?

We got ours first thing this morning. 2 sticky wristbands and 2 blue plastic "biscuits". I assume the biscuits are for the Dolomite area.
Out with the polish this weekend.

There does seem to have been a desire to make things complex. A confirmation letter, then this morning a separate schedule of what's been booked. This mentions a blue token, but no blue token included. Heavens above!

My stuff also came this morning with 2 biscuits for Prodrive (track and skidpan) and a blue one for Gaydon and 2 wristbands for the Museum for me and the missus plus a nice map of what Gaydon SHOULD look like. All this is fine but there is no mention WHATSOEVER of WHERE Prodrive is!
(there's no actual mention of where Gaydon is either but everyone knows that) I know Prodrive is not at Gaydon and I'm pretty sure the proving ground is not by the works at the Banbury junction of the M40 so where is it? Even a postcode for my satnav would be good!
There is also no mention of what is required in terms of safety equipment for track time at Prodrive and no time slot allocated either so I guess its like court, turn up early and wait!
Can anybody help with the above queries?

noise etc, not aware of any requirements, limitations, probably windows shut, arms covered.

If helmets are require, I live about 12 minutes from Prodrive, and have 3, or 4 helmets at home!

Based on previous events at Prescott, might be worth having insurance details with you
