Something I've not seen for ages. A M.G. Magnette ! The Farina styled one. I've always liked these and this one is even in the Tartan red and grey that the old Family A55 II was done in.
Better still it had driven all the way from Holland. Good used every day condition, but could be due for some body work soon.

Loving the Magnettes, though I would prefer the Varitone next to it.
Saw a lovely yellow Spit 1500 on the way home from church yesterday...made a nice convoy with me in the Dolly for a bit near Hampton Court.
Onwre had the roof down, hope he didnt get too wet in the shower which reminded me the wipers on mine need attention...something is a bit noisy!.

Yesterday morning.......
Saw a French registered Renault 4 estate (or a van with windows?) loaded with assorted luggage headed north on the A99.

From the shape of the nose I'd say its a Renault, circa 1906, but its only an educated guess!Jod Clark wrote:Goodness knows, but the wheels were made of wood.

Nice Sprint in White outbound from Town in the Twickenham bit of the A316 today....waved but wws in t he corsa so unlikely he noticed me.
Then later that same journey saw a Renault 4 in the closest colour to Triumph Topaz orange....long time since I saw one of them.

Always nice to see an early proper one being used and I love emerald.

A Gwynne 8 "Brooklands" according to the DVLA! Apparently built in London from 1918 to 1929, the number plate could be significantly earlier - B# was issued in Lancashire from 1904 to 1919!
