looking a buying a toledo i've seen but much prefer the twin round lights than the square ones.
It looks like the wings are shaped to take a round light, anyone know?

Its perfectly possible to fit the quad lights to a 2 light car, but its not cheap! Headlamp retaining panel is available through the club in Zintec then you will need 4 complete headlamps and a pair of grilles and bezels. Best to fit relays to the headlights whilst your at it , to protect the vulnerable dipswitch.

Alun Nicholas is your man for the headlight panels if you want to know the price.

In my own experience I always found the rectangular headlights to be brighter than those of the Dolomite twin headlamps (even the Toledo's sealed beam units were brighter). I must admit that the twin headlights do look nicer. As Steve has said, it is do-able. I hope you know what you're letting yourself in for...

Headlamp panels are £35 each (+ delivery) through the club, Headlamp assemblys of the new bulbed type are available on ebay or from Rimmers, I think you are looking at about £180 for all 4 but it could be more, Grilles and bezels should come up second hand, probably best to budget £50-60 and a few more quid for relays, wire, bulbs etc. So £350 should do it! You might be lucky and find some good used Stag/T2000/P6Rover/Vitesse headlamps or adapt some Capri/E30BMW ones and get off a bit cheaper, depends how much of a hurry you are in!

You could always get the Dolomite look for your rear lights by pinching them off a 70's caravan. Quad fronts do look good though, especially if you tinker and have all four on dipped beam.
