Hi, I have just read this older post with interest - has anything been done yer regarding new stocks of correct sized front and rear rubbers and inserts? Mine are 'okay', but the tell tale signs of rot are there! Better to try and source rubbers sooner rather than latter eh?!

Goint to change my windscreen (laminated) in the next couple of weeks, what is the best option currently available for a new rubber?

I dont think there is one.
The Baines rubber is all I currently know of availability wise and that only works with the thicker zebrazone screen.

If you old one is re-useable than go with that.

not as easy as that for me though, need to change from a toughened windsreen to laminated and the existing rubber is cracked and leaking

I might need a new screen is the future, mine has a few chips, and scratches. Nothing that would fail an MOT, but it could do with replacing.

However this topic has me a bit worried. Is it possible to reuse the old rubber? Mean is in very good nick. Where is the best place to a get a screen and are there any Triumph specialists anyone could recommend for this job? Someone with the skills to get the old rubber out, without damaging it.

You are best getting a new screen through your insurance, however, the new ones are made by Pilkinton and only come in laminated and tinted (though the green tint is barely noticeable), normally takes around two week for them to supply/fit one. Of course it will be fitted by a windscreen specialist who will of course be able to use your old rubber and should be able to fit it correctly.
