I moved your topic to the Dolomite related section - as it is!
Wasn't it Autoplas that made these? I believe they are rarer than a dry day in England, I am sure there would be a demand if someone was to get them re-made. I would have one.
Yep sorry about that just realized posted in the wrong section originally! Yeah they are quite rare by the sounds of things?, a shame really I would love one
I know someone who has one - and he's not selling! Though it's just possible he might lend it for re-manufacture. I too would love one, they are the height of 70s kitsch. I did hear (though my informant may be mistaken) that Autoplas is still in existance as a company. From other comments i've seen, I reckon we could stir up about 20 orders at least!

Why on earth would you want one of those? they don't work very well, peel off with exposure to condensation and the sticky pads where the wires go on are too heavy and snap the wire film off.
Just get a heater rear window from any Dolly and fit that!

Some months ago I took my Autoplas louvre to a moulding specialist where it was used to produce a new former. A few minor modifications have been made to increase rigidity and the method of attachment has been changed. Once everything is sorted I intend to have a batch produced to be sold at cost. I'll update when I can.

Slightly off topic, but the PO of my vermillion Sprint had fitted a slim black venetian blind inside the rear screen. It looked pretty good, and would have been a possible alternative to external louvres, but I removed it years ago and don't know the maufacturer.
