I write with a tear in my eye

Today, I was given a deposit on my little 1500HL.

It has been my first car, and anyone who has followed my posts on here will know how much time, energy and love I have put into it. as well as also learning a great deal about car mechanics at the same time; Indeed I did my first clutch change at the age of 18 with no previous experience!

I will really miss her, a great little car. By no means was she the best, but nonetheless a brilliant little car.

Not much point to this thread I know, but still I feel my sadness needs to be expressed
The worst part is that I am working in the Isle of Man, so will not be able to say goodbye

Oh dear. All I can do is say that one day you'll own a Dolomite again, once you've owned one they get into the blood stream and that stays with you for life.
