SAD DAYS

#1 Post by Tims Triumph »

I write with a tear in my eye :snivel:

Today, I was given a deposit on my little 1500HL.

It has been my first car, and anyone who has followed my posts on here will know how much time, energy and love I have put into it. as well as also learning a great deal about car mechanics at the same time; Indeed I did my first clutch change at the age of 18 with no previous experience!

I will really miss her, a great little car. By no means was she the best, but nonetheless a brilliant little car.

Not much point to this thread I know, but still I feel my sadness needs to be expressed :-({|=
The worst part is that I am working in the Isle of Man, so will not be able to say goodbye :buckets:

Oh dear. All I can do is say that one day you'll own a Dolomite again, once you've owned one they get into the blood stream and that stays with you for life.

Thanks for all your posts on here Tim, please stay in touch as experience of the cars from those who have owned one is always a valued commodity here.

All the best.
