So Castle Combe was fun! I absolutely love the car! ... however it didn't like the day as much as I did... and has been standing at my local garage since then
Horrible noise from the rear axle, most probably bearing or maybe diff. I usually do all the work on my cars myself but haven't got much time at the moment (work work work) so hopefully they will get it sorted at some point.
I think the car was originally built as a drift machine, where massive oversteer is the whole point rather than just showing off.
Is it gonna be back on the road for RRG Nico?

Yes it's a bit oversteery but I love it! It's a combination of welded diff + stiff rear + my driving style. It's not the fastest way around a track but it's definitely the most fun!
I will soften the rear dampers next time and see how it goes.
Not sure if it's going to be ready for the Retro Ride event... I've bought a set of bearings and seals. I hope it'll be sorted soon.
If I can't bring the Dolomite... I just bought a mk1 Honda Insight... does that qualify as "retro"?
