Triumph Dolomite SE 1980

#1 Post by JListerSE »

Hello Everyone,

New(ish) to the forum. I bought this Dolly SE 1980 from a guy in Godalming, Surrey in March 2013. It's since been sat in the driveway and I've finally got round to beginning the restoration - of which I have until the beginning of November to do so! Here's some pictures of what the car looked like when I bought it, and some pictures from today this weekend removing everything including the engine in preparation for a full re-spray.

In need of the following panels so far in steel:
- Boot floor panel/repair panel
- Outer front valance complete
- Windscreen surround panel/scuttle OR n/s bottom corner repair section
- Both front wings
- Gutter chrome trim

If you have any of these, or know the best place to get them drop me a PM!

Thanks,

Jim.

Pictures turned out ridiculously big. I'll edit, and re-upload. Apologies.

And some picture of it blasted....

Found a few more pockets of rust that I didn't want to see. So far it stands at:

- 2 new sills
- Left and Right boot floor repair panels
- New (s/h) front valance
- Patching on the windscreen surround
- Patching on the rear outer valance

Starting to cost me...

Amazing pictures!

And the front wings? Are they okay?

Front wings are all good! Little bit round the arches towards the front, but otherwise solid.
