Propshaft
Hi can anyone tell me if the 2 door Toledo has a 1 or 2 piece prop and will a Dolomite prop fit, also can the centre join on a 2 piece be renewed as i have picked a few spares up from a recently banger raced (shock) dolly including a complete engine and box(1300) 3 subframes 2 of which are complete with wishbones, shocks, disc's and hubs attached, which is good as mine are drums up front, also 2 axle's 1 with shocks and 2 pair of rear trailing arms plus 2 props mentioned earlier 1 with a shot centre join and on the other the sliding bit is seized, cheers

Yes you can change the centre bearing and cv joint or hardie spicer if you have the skills.
The 2 parts are on a splined joint with a big nut and locking plate for the Toledo/Dolomite type.
The sliding splines should free off with a bit of grease in the nipple. If you dont have one there will be a blanking plug that you can replace.
I'm pretty sure most of the early dolomite and toledo props are interchangeable. The box and diff are in the same place and the floorpan is the same,
so cant see why not. The sliding bit copes with the change in length from o-d to non o-d boxes too.
