Construction date and Specification question!

There is rarely, apart from the very earliest registered cars, any correlation between build date and registration date. There were so many Sprints built in the first 18 months, for example, that supply always outstripped demand. There were several 'fields' of stored cars waiting for customers with some cars languishing there for years well before production ended, with stories of plant growth having to be cut out from inside engine bays before some cars could be moved.
