Can anyone recommend any Home Accounts software? I used to use MS Money but that seems to have been discontinued.

I use wife v1.0
The interface is quite noisy and looking its age, and it takes up more and more space as the years roll on, but it looks after money better than I can. :D

I currently use Fianceé V.3.0. It knows where all the money is, unfortunately, I don't.

Hi Mart,

I've gone over to the Dark Side and have been a Mac user for years, I used Moneydance and it worked OK, I think they do Windows and Linux versions as well.

It had an import facility that allowed you to bring over files from Quicken but I'm not sure about Money.

Best thing it had the facility for a free download and you could use it for up to 2-300 transactions to see if you liked it before committing to a purchase, about £30.00 I think.

Cheers,

Len

Thanks Len. Coincidentally I looked on the 'Which?' website and 'Moneydance' came 2nd after 'You Need a Budget', in their review of 5 packages. I gave YNAB a go but prefered Moneydance. I'll see how it goes before the trial period runs out.

One important technical issue, getting an import file from Fianceé V.3.0 could be a problem, deleting it from your system could be a nightmare!
