front wishbone bearing cover alternative?

Hello, im trying to get a hold of 4 lower wishbone bearing covers part number 216907... rimmers dont seem to have them and im struggling to find anywhere that does, does anyone know if plain washers would do the job or have any of the proper parts theyd like to sell?

There was a thread on this recently.
I think we concluded that the Spitfire trunion bush covers do the job.
Have a grub about. You'll find it.

I can confirm that the Spitfire et al trunnion bush kit washers fit as well as the originals. These are easily available from various suppliers. I got my kit off of Ebay, picking the one that looked like it has the nicest passivation on it. Cost me about £8 if I recall.

Anybody thought about buying some engine core plugs and modify them to suit application.

I don't think that would work as they would too thick.

excellent, sportscarsupplies.co.uk is just 3 miles away from where i live and have them in stock! that was lucky :)
