With just buying a dolomite dont know much on them but was Just wondering if someone could give me some advice
Ive been offered some parts of a dolomite. Front sub frame and steering column but he doesn't know what model year they came of. Mine is a 1976 auto 1500 did they change the front sub frames and also the steering columns. Did many parts change over the years dolomites were made.
If they did could someone tell me what other models will be the same steering column and subframe as mine.
Kind regards
help on if same parts fit on all years.

Re: help on if same parts fit on all years.
There are 3 types of subframe and 2 types of column,
HL (and early dolomites and 1500TC's) cars all have the adjustable column.
Non HL Toledo and SE all have the fixed column.
Slant engined cars have 1 subframe, sprints are similar and the ohv cars are all a bit different
with a back extension with a gearbox support - carry over from fwd cars I assume.
So you need to know what it came from or put a pic up and we can tell you.

According to the Dolomite parts book there are 4 (5 if you include the German Sprints) different front subframes, the 1500 auto is different to the 1500 manual .
