would i be right in thinking that shocks and springs for a dolomite would be the same as on a toledo?
Ive been considering this set : http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-RT1269
they look to the be the same as the ones on the car at the moment i just wondered if anyone knew otherwise? i emailed rimmers who said the front shocks are different on a Toledo so im a bit unsure.

I think the Toledo springs are smaller in diameter than the Dolomite ones - but you should be able to use Dolomite springs and shocks as a set if you also use Dolomite top mounts too.
Ah well.......
Given that a Toledo is lighter than a Dolomite, some 2.5 cwt (approx. 125kg) according to the 1975 brochure
standard Dolomite shocks/springs won't be suitable.
However if you purchase adjustable seat shocks then you will be able to set these up for your Toledo.
You will need the correct strut tops to match.
