Dolomite seat backs and seat squabs, any demand?

#1 Post by Magenta Auto Sprint »

I have aquired several front seat backs and seat squabs from various failed seat frames etc.

I was wondering if there is a market for these individual parts or do folk prefer complete seats?

If you've a rear seat back with no arm rest, I might be interested.

Graham.
The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.

What folk prefer and what is still available are two different things. If the fabric is in good order then demand will exist; I salvage what components I can from seats, particularly the beige cloth.

I would say that the demand is really in the rear seat upright covers, anyone with a supplies of these will be a very popular person!

Is this because the fabric from a little used rear seat can be used to recover a damaged front seat?

No, it's because the top of the back seat is the one that goes first through sunlight damage.

Any undamaged cover for any seat part is worth keeping as it can be used later to save another seat
with a different worn bit.
Especially true of anything not black or with no headrest hole.
