Pint Anyone?

#1 Post by Tony Burd »

Found this clearing out my parents garage the other day, not sure how old it is but I can't remember buying oil by the pint.

I believe it was quite common for oil to come in pints. Shell, after WWII, bought up a load of ammunition cases and, appropriately enough, used them for transportation of pints of Shell.
