Bristol meet?

#1 Post by ianf99 »

I'm just wondering if anyone will be going to the Avenue Drivers Club on Queens Square tomorrow?
Would be nice to meet up with a few club members.

I've been meaning to get down there for months (just to see, not with my Dolly) but been too busy or just not managed to drag my arse out of bed. Forecast for tomorrow - cool with 10% chance of light drizzle.

My Tolly is still in the restorers, so I'll be going in my Montego.
I'm a bit the same at poor attendance, so I'm trying to get my ass in gear in advance of the Tolly being done.

Puppies! How exciting!
What breed?
MGF? Winterbourne? I've seen a Green Dolly and a MGF together there..
I have been looking at MGF's lately, but no room at the inn lol.

Hahaha... rofl
Well, I was being all low key lol... if memory serves I think I've counted 5 motors in total? ;p
Haha... don't worry, I'm not a stalker, I drive the 81 and 82 buses past, the Dolly stood out a mile for me lol.

What a fantastic morning...
Didn't see any Dolly's. Closest thing to it was a Triumph 2000.
A truly amazing mix of cars!
Loads of MX5's too lol.

Hi all

I've just got a sprint project to do, are there many owners in and around Bristol.

Would be good to meet some people with knowledge doing these motors

All the best

I own a Sprint and live in Warmley. However, I'm not sure how much help I'd be to you as my car is getting to look like a "barn find" as it's lain untouched in my garage for so long!

I'm going to try to go this month {14th}, now the dolly is on the road. I have been told you got to be there early to get a spot in the square.

Hi Jeremy

I live in warmley too. Might be a while before I'm on the road as rebuilding the engine over the winter.....big learning curve lol

Sorry so long to reply, now joined the TDC and slowly getting the dolly sorted.

Would be good to catch up some time if the offer still open
