I thought I would put this on here as my issue is only track related.
My road going Sprint seems to leak fuel from the left had weber card at the rubber mount point when using it hard on the track. On the road it seems fine even if on the motorway etc or high revs for shorter periods.
It has 45 DCOEs and a filter king with Facet electric pump. Any suggestions what to look at first ? Floats seem to have a similar gap but not sure if the float is the issue as I assume something is making it over fuel ?
Even keener to resolve in case I get to the Castle Coombe event next week.

Re: Fuel out of webers
What mount setup do you have - thackery washers or metal cups/bushes? If thackery make sure the washer gaps are equal and around 0.025" (can't remember the exact tolerance). The gap for the cup washers is 1.5mm.
Leaky pump jets and chokes can also cause it. Try swapping the pump jets over from both carbs and see if the problem moves. And make sure the chokes are fully returned.

Re: Fuel out of webers
Check that the floats are not punctured, Take them out and shake them.
Re: Fuel out of webers
Not had a chance to look at this yet. Wouldn't punctured floats give me issues all the time, not just on the track ?
As it runs fine on the road it's going to be difficult to resolve and test without going on the track again but I don't want to risk screwing up a track day with problems on the first run. I have enough issues getting it through noise control
