I want to change the handbrake bottom rubber gaiter that's underneath the car
- the cable comes out of the end of it
Do you have to remove the handbrake assembly ?
Thanks all

Yes you do as the handbrake rubber boot is secured between the floor pan and the underside of the of the hand brake assembly, you will have to remove the locating pin / split pin which attaches the compensator (this has the handbrake cable fit to it) to the handbrake tie rod, remove the 4 set screw holding the handbrake level to the floor pan. Then you will be able to removed the assembly to renew the handbrake boot.
