And remember Mr Weidner fitted the solid clamp on the offside too :)

Had another clamp made up at the weekend with a different design that is a big improvement on my first attempt.....this revision has a lip on it to stop the rack from rotating and is wide enough to locate the rack so there is no ambiguity with where it is supposed to go.

Funnily enough, I remember fitting two solid clamps from Jamie and that's exactly what I have had to do since I managed to strip the thread on the standard rack mount at the weekend!

Just waiting for a few quotes to come back Paul - this clamp as it is a one off, cost me 60 quid so I know I can get it cheaper if we have a few rattled off at the same time.

Didn't realise there was another car show on at the weekend but was in work anyway!
