Sprint production, numbers and dates

This was discussed in another thread and it got me thinking. I found a number of separate threads on this so have tried to bring them together and summarise below.

For each of the 4 'series', the first and last chassis numbers are listed:

In fact the last letters were HE although very faint but I managed with a endoscope!

Mine is TWTLD5AT106008 built in 1980...... somewhere near the end...
