Borg Warner 65.

The original link I put up for JPAT linked to the 65/66 page on their website.
Currently over 35 years worth of fixing 35 boxes.
Hoping to reach 65 years worth of fixing 65 boxes.

You should be able to carry over stuff from your old autobox. How is the swap being done? It is going to be the "engine out" or "tunnel out" method? Make sure you use the correct fluid when you come to change it? Ford M2C-33G is the spec you should be looking for. Do NOT use Dexron fluid.

It wont be engine out if it can be helped, can it be done from under, be dropped out?. I was wondering about the torque convertor is it sealed or what.

The torque converter is a sealed unit (you can't dismantle it). It just slides on to the input shaft and is bolted on the flexplate (auto equivalent of the flywheel) by 4 bolts. If you go back through my resto thread to about September 2011 you can see what I did when my flex plate broke (I did the "engine out" method). It is possible to drop the rear of the subframe to get the autobox out from beneath as well as the other 2 methods I've mentioned before.
