I've seen them used on the prototype TR7 Sprints, though not the pre-production ones of the second batch, but aren't sure of they were used on Dolys.

The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.

As far as I'm aware, they were only intended for the Sprint engined TR7s. Maybe one of the TR7 specialists would know.

I thought I hadn't seen one on a Doly Sprint.

And it's just occured to me that they'd have a BL part number if they were for a producion car - the TR7 Sprint side stripes do, and they were only on pre-production cars. These only have an RB number, as far as I know.
