OK so I used to play a game called World of Tanks
Showing a complete lack of variety I've moved on to something called Armored Warfare. If you are not familiar with these then let me clarify that they are online video games based on tank warfare.
AW is relatively new and still in open beta test. Driving around I noticed that some of the parked cars look familiar.
See the attached screen shots. What do you think?

Looks more like a Toledo...
AW is that a freebie MMO? I've just started playing World of Warships.

World of Tanks kind of started it as far as I know. War Thunder came along and did planes and tanks. I've never played the tank bit but gather it's poor compared to WoT.
WoT has a lot of historical tanks but also a lot of baggage around match making and random number generators ie luck applicators. A lot of people got sick of the nonsense.
AW was supposed to be like WoT but with the issues resolved. It is certainly a lot lot better. It's all about more modern tanks so you get missiles etc. And the graphics and physics are much better.
Wargaming make WoT. They also make World of Warships. I've also played that. I just find it tedious compared to tank battles. They are all free MMOs although you can pay for quicker progression, other benefits etc.
Suggest you try AW. It's pretty good
Interestingly as far as I know all the developers in all 3 cases are Russian, which really begs the question about why they have a 4 door Toledo in their for scene setting

HAHA! Good spot!
I also used to play WoT (a lot!), but got bored, but moved to World of Warships rather than AW, as even though I was a AW beta tester I found it a bit confusing for some reason. As to War Thunder, getting shot at by people that cheat and remove all of the vegetation put me right off from day one!
Still, best tank game is a trip to Bovington during Tankfest!

Bovington is a great place to visit (or have a car meet).
Diane took a video of that Tiger Tank and its on Utube.
I would not like to have been in a Sherman trying to break through Tigers however apparently there were not loads of Tigers as they took some making and Russia called louder for them.

The Sherman was not (affectionately?) known as a Ronson for nothing!trackerjack wrote:Bovington is a great place to visit (or have a car meet).

And the Germans called them Tommy Cookers!
The Tiger was incredibly well engineered, finger tip gear changes etcetera, the Sherman however was a terrible tank but there was just so many of them that they won purely by overwhelming numbers, bit like the Russian T34 which needed two hands and the might of Stalin just to change gear...
