Clock in my 1850 was / is knackered and minus a hand, so bought a Triumph 2000 one off ebay. Tried to fit this morning and wiring etc is ok but the one I have bought has a securing bracket on it as opposed to the 3 spring clips the original has! Bracket is too deep so easily fixed with a hacksaw and file, but the bulb has blown too! Can I purchase a bulb off anyone or a link and ref to where I might get one?

GLB281 is the bulb type apparently, google glb281
There are led options available, but I like the original dimness!

Rich, my lightbulb guide is HERE Bill, that is indeed the correct bulb for the clock illumination. I've edited my lightbulb guide accordingly. You can get car LED bulbs in warm white which have the advantages of LED with an original look.
