Triumph 1300 engine overhaul - CM 40 years ago this month!

#1 Post by Galileo »

Funny the things you dig up when you have time on your hands, and are idly doing a bit of tidying up, and today is no exception to that. Saw this article on the front cover of one of my old Car Mechanics magazines and considering the date of January 1976, and the rarity of CM publishing something Triumph related I thought I would share. CM always bring back memories of being a child and reading each edition cover to cover with relish, I really liked the help section, Barry Cade's trade tips and Ted Connolly regularly complaining about his overheating Imp.

With this early fascination with engineering it's strange that I ended up with an IT career, something went wrong there but I suspect it is because I enjoyed it so much I didn't want to ruin it all by making a living out of it!
