1500 bearings
I need big end and main bearings for my 1500 and was after some advice and availability of the best bearings for this engine please.

Most of the modern bearings are bi-metal. They are OK and work well, but the originals were tri-metal which are now available again for Spitfire 1500 which will be the same as Dolomite 1500. Both bi-metal and tr-metal will be branded as County.
Go to Paddocks website you want RTC1754xxxLC for the Big ends and RTC1753xxxLC for the mains. The LC stands for lead copper.
You are lucky to be able to buy tri-metal bearings I wish you could get them for the Sprint.
